"Brock" MHR Wyvernaxe Audley MH

Terry Holzinger lined up purchasing two English Field Trial bred puppies from England through Internationally known English shooting instructor Jack Mitchell. Jack Mitchell used to come to the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club to give shooting instructions. The two puppies were purchased in 1990 and co-owned between Terry Holzinger and Matt & Karen Cashman who co-owned Cashzinger Stud Dog Kennels. The two puppies were raised and trained from the beginning knowing we were only keeping one of the males. It was a hard decision, but we decided to keep Brock (Wyvernaxe Audley) versus Windsor. Windsor was sold to Richard Hoyt, who renamed him Winston. Winston went on to become one of the top dogs running in tournament hunting NATHA (North American Tournament Hunting Association). Winston became high point dog of the year 2 different years, and was in a three way tie for first a 3rd year, including all pointers and flushers.

Brock's full name is MHR Wyvernaxe Audley MH. Brock attained his Master hunting title in AKC hunt test and his Master hunting title in NAHRA (North American Hunting Retriever Association). He also attained his runner-up champion title in the US Open Pheasant Hunting Championship in 1994, running with Terry Holzinger. Brock also did a little bit of the show circuit because of his great looks. He received 3 points in the show circuit, but had to eventually be pulled out because of scheduling conflicts with hunting competitions. Brock was one of the first Master English bred titled AKC dogs and NAHRA dogs in the United States. Brock has consistently proven that he is a top producer of quality gun dogs, producing numerous dogs that have gone on to earn AKC Master titles, NAHRA master titles, APLA Certified, Master pointing titles and Show titles. Countless dogs from his lineage have earned local, State and National titles in upland hunting competitions. These titles continue through several generations coming out of Brock. Many people bred to Brock because of both his good looks and his steady "let's do it right" attitude.
